Learn More About The Window Drawing

Windows are such common sights that we seldom give them any thought. They are an architectural feature of houses and other buildings that let in light and allow for ventilation.

In popular culture, including television shows, movies, and books aimed at teenagers, youths often use windows for sneaking out of the house undetected.

Another common theme is a window that is broken by an errant baseball. Cartoons may feature a villain who breaks into a building by silently cutting a circle of glass from a window.

Windows also feature frequently in maxims and proverbs. Examples include "The eyes are the windows to the soul" and "When one door closes, open a window."
