Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing Poseidon

How to Draw a Great Looking Poseidon for Kids and Beginners - Step 1

How to Draw Poseidon Step 01

1. Begin by drawing the guide lines that will help you to draw your cartoon of Poseidon. Draw a circle with an inverted triangle beneath it. These will help you to shape the head and torso. Then, draw a straight, vertical line down the center of the shapes. Beneath the tip of the triangle, draw a line curving to one side.

Then, draw Poseidon's beard. Use long, curved lines that meet at jagged points.

4. Draw a curved line across the top of the face, connecting the sides of the head. This forms the base of the crown. Draw curved lines upward from each end of the base to form the sides of the crown. Then, extend a curved line inward from each side, allowing the lines to meet at a tall point. This completes the outline of the crown. Decorate it with a small jewel, an oval, in the center. Next, draw curved lines from the bottom of the crown to the sides of the face to indicate Poseidon's hair.
