1. Begin by outlining the shield. Use four curved lines to enclose the elongate diamond shape. Then, begin outlining the border of the shield. At each of the three upper points, use three straight lines to enclose an open trapezoid shape. Then, connect these shapes using curved lines.

2. Complete the border of the shield. Use straight lines to draw three more incomplete trapezoids, then connect them with long curved lines. Within three of the corner notches, draw a small circle. Draw small triangles in two more. At the top of the shield, draw a diamond and two triangles.
