Learn how to draw a great looking Basketball Hoop with easy, step-by-step drawing  instructions, and video tutorial.

Begin by drawing a flattened oval. Then, draw a smaller oval inside the first. This forms the rim of the basketball hoop.

Draw lines from one side of the rim to the backboard, top line longer than bottom.

Draw a curved line downward from one side of the rim. This begins the outline of the net.

Draw a curved line down; connect bottom with a wavy line, then draw diagonals for crosshatch.

Draw perpendicular diagonal lines in the inner oval of the hoop, indicating the opposite side of the net.

Draw a circle overlapping the bottom of the net. This will become the basketball.

Draw a curved line across the basketball and three perpendicular curved lines, creating the seams.

Draw a four-sided shape with four straight lines. Extension from its rim should meet in center for basketball goal backboard.

Draw a smaller 4-sided shape within the first, and extend two lines from the rim to the backboard for extra support.
