Learn how to draw a great looking Flute with easy, step-by-step drawing instructions, and video tutorial.
Draw two angled lines that converge slightly at the bottom to form the sides of a flute.
Draw two curved lines across top of flute, one connecting outlines and one not reaching sides; then one from junction to outlines.
Erase guide lines and sketch mouthpiece; draw curved lines from head joint to windway.
Draw a rectangle with a line across to give it a three-dimensional appearance; this is known as the window.
Connect the lines of the flute at the bottom using a small oval. Then, draw a narrow oval around the bottom end of the flute.
Draw a curved rectangle connecting the ends of the oval, then attach two curved lines to the midsection of the flute.
Draw a straight line down flute barrel, then curved lines at barrel-foot joint junction.
Draw narrow ovals overlapping the line on the flute's barrel. These are tone holes or finger holes.
Erase the guide line from the barrel. Draw four additional ovals to create the flute's double holes.
