Begin by drawing a large oval to form the basic outline of the mask.
Draw a curved and connected line on one side of the oval with varying lengths on the other.
Connect the lines using a parallel series of straight lines of various lengths.
Draw a shorter, curved line connecting the top and side of the mask.
Extend a horizontal line from the bottom of Iron Man's chin and connect it to the side of his mask with a slight curve.
Draw a long, curved line within the previous shape and a series of short, connected straight lines across the chin.
Draw a pair of curved lines extending from the chin to the sides of the face.
Erase the guide lines formed by the original oval.
Draw an irregular shape along one side of the face, with parallel, curved lines across and connecting to the side.
