Begin by drawing a circle. This will help you to outline the shape of the bulb.
Two curved lines continue the outline of the bulb by descending from the circle and angling closer.
Connect the lines using a short, curved line. The shape you have outlined should resemble an inflated balloon.
Erase the guide line left by the original circle.
Create a curved rectangular shape below the bulb to serve as the screw thread contact.
Create horizontal, parallel curved lines at the base of the bulb to show threading on the contact.
Create the glass mount by drawing two diagonal lines from the screw thread contact and adding a curved line.
Draw a curved line connecting the glass mount's arms to indicate the filament producing light and heat with electricity.
Create jagged "W" and "V" shapes in a circle around the filament, with a halo of straight lines to show the light.
