Begin by enclosing an irregular shape using a curved line. This forms the top portion of the microscope, known as the head.
Form an eyepiece tube (ocular lens for viewing tiny objects) by connecting two parallel lines at the end by a curved line.
Draw a curved line under the head, and then connect three curved lines with an inverted V at the bottom.
Draw two lines below head, followed by curved nosepiece and three ovals connected by curved lines (objective lenses).
Draw a rhombus, extend lines from the corners, and connect with lines to form a 3D rectangular stage.
Draw 3 vertical lines below the microscope arm and stage and connect them at the bottom to form the lower part of the frame.
Draw the coarse and fine focus or adjustment knobs, erasing as necessary. For each, draw a small oval within a small oval.
Draw cylinder base for illuminator of microscope with vertical lines & curved top and bottom.
Draw a rectangle shape and extend two lines downward from each corner to form a 3D rectangular base.
