how to draw a Spartan Helmet step-by-step

Begin by drawing a large inverted "U" shaped line. This provides the basic outline for the helmet.

Using a short straight line, create the "nose" of the helmet and draw a spiral for the eye opening.

Use a series of curved lines to enclose the triangular shapes at the back and side of the helmet.

Draw a long curved line nearly parallel to the top and back of the helmet. This forms the base of the plume.

Draw a curved line upward from the upper end of the plume. Then, draw a long curved line to meet the base of the plume at the neck.

Erase a portion of the top of the plume and replace it with a series of narrow "U" shaped lines.

Connect the plume segments with "V" shaped lines and texture with curved lines of different lengths.

Connect the plume to the helmet using three pairs of short straight lines.

Contour the helmet with a sweeping "S" shaped line.
