You too can easily draw a Sunset by following the simple steps.
Learn how to draw a great looking Sunset with easy, step-by-step drawing instructions, and video tutorial.
Begin by drawing a straight, horizontal line. This line is called the horizon line.
Draw the mountainous islands on one side of the picture with a curve line from the side to the horizon.
Draw another island on the opposite side, again using a curved, bumpy line.
Draw the sun. Enclose a circle using a long, curved line. Notice that since the sun is setting, part of it is hidden by the horizon line.
Draw sun's reflection: straights, curves, and zigzags to shade an upside down triangle beneath sun.
Draw two curved lines from an island to a point, forming a trunk for a palm tree.
Draw leaves from the trunk of the palm by extending curved lines in pairs that meet at sharp points.
From the tip of the trunk, extend several short, curved lines in pairs. Allow each pair to meet in a sharp point.
Draw waves angled across the water and birds flying across the sun (as simple curved, "M"-shaped lines with downward points).
