How to Draw a Great Looking Coin for Kids and Beginners - Step 1
1. Draw a large oval in the middle of the page. Make sure you're drawing an oval, not a perfect circle.

2. Sketch a curve on the bottom section of the coin to create a crescent shape. This makes your coin drawing look three-dimensional.

3. Erase a few lines near the bottom of the curve, then draw seven vertical dashes on the left.

4. Add ten more dashes until you've covered the entire shape. The dashes should shrink as they approach the corner.

5. Draw a circle inside the top portion of the oval.

6. Erase a few lines in the circle that you just drew, then add a smaller circle inside this shape.

7. Sketch another thin crescent in the top-left corner of the circle that you drew earlier. This gives your coin more depth.
