Coins are one of the easiest forms of currency to draw. You'll start with an oval, then make your coin look three-dimensional with circles and a few curves. When you're done, try sketching a shadow underneath your coin for added realism.

This coin has a simple dollar sign on the front. If you want a challenge, grab a nickel, penny or quarter and try sketching the face on the surface instead. You could also design your own currency for a made-up country.
