How to Draw a Cute Deer

1. Begin the cute deer outline by drawing its large eyes. Draw two teardrop shapes with rounded points. Then, draw two small ovals inside each and shade around them.

2. Draw a thick curved line for the side of the face. Draw a semicircle above each eye. Shade a small inverted triangle between the eyes to indicate the nose.

3. At the top of the head, use short lines that meet at points to draw a tuft of fur. Then, use two curved lines for the ear. Inside it, contour by drawing a curved line and doubling it back on itself in a roughly teardrop shape.

Connect the ear and the tuft, then continue the curve of the face below the ear.

4. Draw the remaining ear. Use two curved lines that meet at a gentle point to outline the outside of the ear, and two more to contour the inside.

Then, extend a long curved line below the head. Draw another curved line for the back of the leg, and connect them with a straight line at the bottom.

5. Use long curved lines for the remaining foreleg and the chest. Connect the lines of the leg with a short line, and band the legs with curved lines to indicate the hooves.

6. Use a long curved line and double it back to form the rear leg. Connect it to the foreleg with a curved line, indicating the belly. Band the bottoms of the legs with curved lines to indicate the hooves.

7. Use a long curved line to complete the back and tail, fully enclosing the character.

8. Draw the remaining rear leg. Use a long curved line and double it back on itself. Band the bottoms of the legs with short lines to indicate the hooves.

9. Draw ovals of different sizes on the fawn's back to indicate the spots.
