1. Begin the jade plant outline by drawing its pot. Use one curved line for the sides and bottom of the pot and another for the top of the pot, but don't let them touch.
Draw a curvy line above the pot to indicate the soil. From it, extend a long, wavy line upward. This will become the jade plant's woody trunk.

3. Draw more leaves, like pointed ovals or rounded teardrops. Some are partially hidden behind the others. Use short lines to complete the branch between them.

4. Draw two more branches extending from the trunk, erasing as necessary. Then draw two oval-shaped leaves on each branch.
