Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing a Jade Plant

How to Draw a Great Looking Jade Plant for Kids and Beginners - Step 1

1. Begin the jade plant outline by drawing its pot. Use one curved line for the sides and bottom of the pot and another for the top of the pot, but don't let them touch.
Draw a curvy line above the pot to indicate the soil. From it, extend a long, wavy line upward. This will become the jade plant's woody trunk.
Drawing Step 2

2. Finish enclosing the pot and the soil with curved and wavy lines. Use wavy lines for the remaining side of the trunk and to form a branch coming from it. Enclose an irregular oval to form the first fleshy leaf.
