Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing a Lawn Mower
How to Draw a Great Looking Lawn Mower for Kids and Beginners - Step 1
1. Begin the lawn mower outline by drawing a series of connected, curved lines. First, draw a rectangle with a rounded corner.
Then, draw a "C" shaped line and another curved line. Contour each shape with a curved line. These shapes will become the lawn mower's engine.
Drawing Step 2
2. Sketch another rounded rectangle shape partially hidden by the first. Enclose two round shapes on top of it, and band one with a curved line.
Draw a circle on the side of the first shape and draw a curved line inside it. Draw two short, horizontal lines on the side.

Drawing Step 3
3. Draw a horizontal line across the previous shape. Then draw rounded rectangles on the front and side of the engine.
Within the front rectangle, draw a smaller rectangle and an "L" shaped line. Enclose a rounded shape below the mower, and extend two curved lines from the front.
Drawing Step 4
4. Draw an oval and band it with a curved line. This is the wheel. Draw another partial oval beside it and one on the opposite side. Draw three curved lines across the front of the mower.
Drawing Step 5
5. Draw an oval inside the first wheel. On the opposite side, draw another oval with a line through it and a smaller oval inside it. Draw two short lines on the front of the mower, then enclose the side with a long curved line.
Draw two curved lines across it. Draw the larger rear wheel, starting with an oval, then drawing a curved line across it.
Drawing Step 6
6. Draw a circle inside the first wheel and a circle within a circle in the rear wheel. Use short, straight lines to draw spokes on all three wheels.
Then, use a long curved line to enclose an irregular shape at the back of the mower.
Drawing Step 7
7. Draw the handle, erasing as necessary. Use a long curved line and double it back on itself. Detail the bag at the back of the mower with curved lines.
