Learn More About The Emo Boy Drawing

Emo is a music genre that has its own fashion trends. Learn how to draw an emo boy with dark hair and pale skin.

Many people in the emo subculture have long, dark hair. To make your emo boy's hair look three-dimensional, try blocking out the highlights that you see in the example, then fill them in with light grey and use dark grey for the rest of the hair.

You could even give the highlights a subtle gradient by lightly blending the top.

This character is so pale that he almost looks like a vampire. Instead of shading his skin with shades of tan or brown, you'll use a greyish-purplish hue that makes him look sickly.
