How to Draw Charles Darwin

1. Sketch two lemon shapes, then draw circles inside them. Add curves around the eyes for the wrinkles. For each eyebrow, draw a long triangle with two smaller triangles on the end.

2. Draw thin lines above the eyebrows. For the nose, sketch two diagonal lines near the right eye, then add a hook on the end and a C-shape on the left. Add another diagonal line near the left eye.

Sketch crooked lines near the left side of the nose and the right side of the right eye. Draw a small triangle beneath the nose.

3. Add a wavy line underneath the nose, then draw a curve underneath. On the right, sketch a loose, wavy line with small triangles.

4. Sketch another loose, wavy line that outlines the left side of the face.

5. Complete the beard with another sketchy line that crosses the left cheek. Add lots of small triangles and curves.

6. Draw small dashes inside the beard, then outline the top of the head with a dome.

7. Sketch two diagonal lines underneath the bottom of the beard. On the right, draw two triangles with vertical lines inside them. On the left, sketch a rectangle and a triangle, then draw a parallel line inside this shape.

8. For the shoulder, draw a curve with a small triangle near the top. Complete the arm with a loose Y-shape, then add two dashes on the chest.

9. Outline the bottom section of the body with a wavy line. Draw more curves and wavy lines on the shoulder. Finally, outline your easy Charles Darwin drawing with black ink.

Give your Charles Darwin sketch a grey beard and tan skin, then use reddish-brown for the coat and maroon for the shirt. Make the eyes white with dark pupils.
