How to Draw Popeye

1. Begin the Popeye outline by drawing the character's face. Use long curved lines for the mouth and bulbous nose, and shorter ones for the squinting eye and eyebrows. Shade a small oval to indicate the open eye.

2. Use a series of overlapping curved lines to draw his deeply dimpled chin and ear. Then, draw the open mouth and the tongue inside. Contour above and below the mouth with curved lines.

3. Extend a curved line from the chin and double it back on itself to form the stem of Popeye's pipe. Draw the sides of his head, the brim and bill of his cap, its round button, and its double crown.
