Begin the easy Robert Delaunay art project for kids outline by drawing a circle in the middle of your page. Then, create a grid. Draw a straight, horizontal line through the middle of the circle. Extend straight, vertical lines from the top and bottom of the circle. 2. Draw a smaller circle inside the first circle. Using the vertical line as a guide, draw another circle below the first, matching it in size. Then, using the upper vertical line as a guide, draw two half circles above the first circle. 3. Use curved lines to enclose a large circle behind the two lower circles. The lines should reach from the bottom half of the first circle to the lowest point of the lower circle. Using the vertical line as a guide, draw two half circles of different sizes inside the lower circle - one on each side of the line. Finally, draw a circle around the horizontal line. 4. Outline a big circle passing behind the other circles. On one side of the vertical lines, draw another, larger half-circle parallel to it. Then, draw small circles, two intersecting the half-circle and one in the circle resting on the horizontal line. 5. Draw a half-circle between the lines in the previous step. Draw another half-circle on the opposite side of the vertical line. Draw small circles inside those intersecting the large half-circle, with a diagonal line passing through one of them. 6. Draw two curved lines in the upper right quadrant, and one inside a circle in the lower left quadrant. Using the lower vertical guide line as a starting point, draw a curved line to the bottom of the shape. 7. Draw a circle within a circle in the upper right quadrant, and a curved line forming a semicircle in the lower right quadrant. Using the upper vertical line as a guide, enclose a small half circle. 8. Draw two small circles in the upper left quadrant and enclose a partial circle in the lower left quadrant. 9. Complete your easy Robert Delaunay art project for kids outline by drawing two more circles inside a circle in the upper left quadrant and a partial circle inside one in the lower left quadrant. Color your cartoon. Delaunay's circular paintings often include contrasting colors - such as black and white or red and black - placed side by side. They also include swirls of more similar colors such as yellow and green or various shades of blue.
