How to Draw a Disco Ball

1. Sketch a large circle in the center of the page, then add a small triangle on top.

2. Starting at the top of the page, draw a straight vertical line that touches the triangle, then add an identical line in the center of the ball. Add two curved lines in the middle of the circle to make a stripe.

3. Add four more curved lines to your disco ball. The lines should become shorter and closer together as they reach the top to make the ball look three-dimensional.

4. Draw four more curved lines on the disco ball, making them increasingly short. Space these lines further apart to show that you're looking up at the disco ball from below.

5. Add a curve on the bottom of the disco ball. Sketch four vertical curved lines that create a crosshatch pattern. Space the lines apart on the top and connect them at the bottom.

6. Draw a fifth vertical line on the right side, then add four vertical lines on the left. Repeat the previous step, but make the lines face in the opposite direction.

7. Sketch a fifth line on the left. Next, use a combination of short and narrow triangles to draw two stars around the disco ball. Try drawing a diamond shape first, then adding the long points.

8. Draw another star in the background and two stars on the disco ball. Make one star smaller than the rest.

9. Add another small star on the disco ball and four in the background. Outline your easy disco ball with a black pen or marker. Don't outline the stars just yet.

Color your disco ball drawing in various shades of pink, yellow, white, light purple and dark violet.

Outline the stars on the disco ball with light purple, then leave them white. Use pink, yellow and white for the remaining stars, and color the background purple.
