Learn More About The Zombie in a Cemetery Drawing

Zombies are fictional monsters that appear in horror films, novels, video games, comic books and even a Disney movie. This step-by-step guide shows you how to make a creepy zombie in a cemetery drawing.

Modern zombies, such as the one in this illustration, originate from George A. Romero's films. Artists use muted colors to signify death and decay. As you color your sketch, use dark shades with hints of gray.

Notice how the upturned nose, defined cheekbones and shadows beneath the eyes create a "sunken" look. You'll need only a few lines and shapes to turn a healthy face into a sickly one.
