1. Begin the archaeologist outline by drawing his hat. Use curved lines to trace the round shape of the hat and to separate the crown and brim.
Then draw his face below it. Use long and short curved lines to sketch the face, ear, hair, eyes, nose, and mouth. Shade a small oval for the pupil inside each eye.

3. Use curved lines to draw the remaining sleeve and arm, as well as the fingers and hand. Extend pairs of curved lines in front of and behind the hand, and connect them on the ends.
