1. Begin the easy realistic panda outline by drawing the animal’s face. Start with a flattened heart shape for the nose. Draw a curved line for the top of the snout. Enclose the eyes, and shade round pupils within each.

2. Use a series of curved lines to draw the head. Draw a “W" shaped line under the nose. Then use a series of lines, some of which meet at jagged points, to draw the furry side of the head.

Draw short lines within the nose to indicate the nostrils.

3. Draw the first of the oval-shaped ears. Contour it with a " C” shaped line inside. Use a long curved line for the top of the head, followed by a series of short, jagged lines to complete the outline.

Then, use two curved lines to enclose and detail the remaining ear.

4. Use long curved lines for the sides of the leg. Draw four small triangles for the claws, and extend a short line past each one.

5. Draw a curved line for the chest and two more for the sides of the second foreleg. Draw three small triangles with short lines for the claws and toes.

At the top of the leg, use short lines that meet at jagged points to add the texture of fur.

6. Use long curved lines for the panda’s back, belly, and the beginning of the rear leg.

7. Use a series of curved lines and small triangles to complete the rear leg. Then, begin the final leg with a curved line.

8. Use small triangles and curved lines to complete the final leg.

9. Add the final details to the bear. Enclose rounded shapes around the eyes. Draw three series of curved lines across the body. Notice how the lines join to form the texture of fur.
