How to Draw Ice Skating

1. Sketch two small lemon shapes with circles inside them. Add dashes above them and a hook near the left eye. Draw two dashes for the mouth.

Draw a curve next to the left eye, then outline the face with a rounded triangle shape.

2. Add the ear with an oval and a curve. Draw the hairline with a wavy line, then add a curve above it. Sketch the neck with vertical lines.

Outline the right shoulder with a curve. Sketch the left shoulder with two short curves, then draw the arm with four long curves.

3. Add four more long curves for the right arm. Draw the fingers with long, narrow hot dog shapes that overlap each other.

4. Repeat the previous step for the right hand. Outline the body with one short curve and two long ones.

5. Draw two triangles on the chest, then sketch lines and a small U-shape on the neck. Start the skirt with two curves, and draw short curves inside the body.

6. Complete the skirt with a wavy line like the edge of a curtain. Use four curves for the leg, and sketch the shoe with an oval attached to a rectangle. Draw a small banana shape inside the shoe.

7. Start the right leg with two curvy V-shapes. For the skate on the left, draw a thin, narrow rectangle, then attach it to the shoe with tiny rectangles and a semi-oval.

8. Repeat the earlier steps to draw another skate that's identical to the first one.

9. Sketch triangles and a semi-circle behind the head. Draw lines inside the hair, skirt, knees and shoes. Outline your ice skating drawing with a black pen or marker.

Color your ice skating picture with your favorite hair and skin color. Use blue for the dress, and make the skates white and grey.
