How to Draw Smurfette

1. Begin the Smurfette outline by drawing her face. Use curved lines to outline the nose and eyes. Draw a curved line for the eyelid of each eye, then shade round pupils under them.

2. Use long curved lines to outline the hair and edges of the face. Use curved lines for the eyelashes at the outer corners of the eyes, eyebrows above, the smiling mouth, and the dimple at the corner of the mouth.

3. Use long, overlapping curved lines to draw the hair and floppy cap, resembling a witch's hat. Notice how the overlapping lines make the material appear wrinkled.

4. Draw long lines for the side of the torso and the arm. Use shorter, overlapping lines for the hand and fingers.

5. Use long lines for the opposite arm. This time, the arm is bent with the hand on the hip. Use a short line for the remaining side of the torso and a "U" shaped line for the neck of the garment.

6. Finish the hand using overlapping curved lines. Draw a wavy line for the bottom of the dress.

7. Extend a pair of lines below the dress to form the leg. Enclose an oval shape around it, then another. This is the top of the foot and Smurfette's high-heeled shoe. Use a curved line to enclose the shoe's heel.

8. Draw the remaining leg, foot, and shoe. Then, use long curved lines to draw Smurfette's hair. Notice the overlap that gives the hair texture.

9. Decorate the dress with round shapes at the bottom. Draw curved lines through the hair to give it texture.

Your Smurfette outline is now complete. Color your character. All Smurfs have bright blue skin and a white cap. Smurfette's dress and shoes are also white. Her hair is blonde or yellow.
