1. Begin the cartoon beluga whale outline by drawing a wavy curved line for the front of the mouth.

Near the end of the line, draw a circle within a circle and shade between them, forming the whale's eye. Draw a curved line for an eyebrow above it.

2. Use curved lines to outline the melon or forehead, the lower jaw, and the open mouth.

3. Contour the front of the melon and below the eye with curved lines. Then draw a series of small, rounded triangles inside the mouth. These are the belugas' teeth.

4. Extend a long curved line from the top of the head, forming the whale's back.

5. Extend a short curved line from the lower jaw. Overlap its end with another line, and double that line back on itself. This forms the whale's fin or flipper.

Then, draw another curved line to meet it, forming an incomplete triangle shape. This is one-half of the whale's tail.
