1. Draw a row of hills near the middle of the page. Add a hook on either side, then sketch an upside-down heart for the nose. Use semi-ovals with dashes on top for the eyes, and draw the pupils with smaller ovals.

2. Outline the head with a loose, uneven heart shape. Sketch curves on either side of the face to complete the skull.

3. Sketch wide curves around the head, then draw an uneven triangle on top. Carry the line over to a hill on the right, and bring it down into a backward S-shape. Complete the hood with a loop.
Start the left arm with a vertical curve.

4. Draw the fingers with three ovals. Sketch lines inside two of the ovals, then add a curve for the palm. Use straight lines for the wrist.
Sketch the sleeve with a horizontal and vertical curve.

5. Add another finger, then draw a long tube with a shorter, wider tube on top. Sketch two small hills on top of this shape. Complete the sleeve with another curve.

6. Outline the blade with a long, narrow triangle with a semi-circle cut out of the base. Make the bottom of the blade slightly uneven, and sketch a line in the center of the triangle.
Start the right sleeve with a semi-oval. Add two swooping curves that start to come together near the shoulder.

7. Sketch banana shapes for the fingers with an oblong oval for the palm. Draw the arm with two straight lines.

8. For the left side of the cloak, draw a tall hook that ends in a point. Add a wavy line to the right. Complete the sleeve with a curve, then draw lines inside the fingers and palm.
