How to Draw a Great Looking Cartoon Spider-Man for Kids and Beginners - Step 1

Cartoon Spider-Man step-by-step drawing tutorial: step 1

1. Sketch an oval with a narrow bottom like you're drawing a balloon. Add two hooks beneath the head, then draw each eye with a deep curve and diagonal line. Surround the eyes with identical larger shapes.

This should look similar to the start of a Miles Morales drawing.

2. Add the arms with two banana shapes. Outline the body with three curves, and sketch the thumb with another banana shape. Use hot dog shapes with flat bottoms for the fingers.

3. Complete the fingers with two more bananas. On the right, use wavy lines for the thumb and index finger and rectangles for the rest, making sure they overlap. Draw a semi-football shape underneath the body.

4. Sketch the right knee with another semi-football shape, then complete the left leg with a curve and draw two curves between the legs. Add a dash beneath the head and a loop on the left knee.

Draw the left side of the foot with a rounded triangle. To the right, draw a small semi-oval and carry the line downward until you outline the toes with another triangle.

5. Start the right foot with a diagonal line that ends in a triangle. Make a rounded line, sketch the heel with a semi-oval and draw a wavy line that nearly touches the knee. Add a semi-circle to the knee.
