Again, you will need a pencil and a good eraser, since you will create and remove several lines that serve as guides.
Step-by-Step Tutorial for Drawing a Cute Anime Girl's Head and Face
Cute Anime Girl's Head and Face drawing - Step 1
1. Begin the anime girl template by drawing the guidelines.
Draw a circle to form the basis of the head. Draw a horizontal line near the bottom, crossed by a vertical line at a perpendicular angle.
The vertical line should extend below the circle and almost to the top of it.

2. Draw a wide "U" shaped line from one side of the circle to the other. It should meet the circle just above the horizontal guideline.
Then, use curved lines to outline and detail the ears. The horizontal line should be just below the center of each ear.

3. Next, draw the anime eyes. Use curved lines to trace the top, side, and bottom of each eye.
Notice that the bottom line does not connect to the other lines and that the top and side are thickly shaded. This indicates the eyelashes.
Shade a small circle within each eye and draw a larger circle around it. These are the pupils and irises of the eyes.
Finally, draw a curved line above each eye to contour the eyelid.
See the How to Draw Eyes tutorial for more eye drawing details.

4. Erase the horizontal guideline. Then, continue detailing the face.
Use curved lines to enclose the pointed, curved shapes of the eyebrows and the tip of the nose. Use a wide "U" shaped line for the mouth and a tiny line to contour along one brow, adding an uncertain emotion to the face.
Extend a pair of long curved lines below the head to form the neck. Allow them to diverge horizontally, indicating the shoulders.

5. Erase the guidelines from the face. Then, use long curved lines to draw the hair.
Allow two lines to converge at a point, forming a long lock of hair to one side of the face. Use additional, overlapping curved lines to draw the bangs and the part in the hair.
Texture the hair with curved lines. Draw a small rectangle crossing the earlobe to indicate an earring.
Draw a short curved line below the neck to contour the collar bone.

6. Draw more strands of hair. Use long curved lines.
Allow some of the hair to cross in front of the shoulders, and some behind them. Notice how the lines converge and dip inward at the crown of the head.
