Drawing Step 3
3. Draw three short lines on each eye to indicate the eyelashes. Then, use two curved lines that meet at gentle points to draw each ear. Just above the ears, draw two more sets of curved lines. Connect them with ovals at the top.
These are the giraffe's ossicones, a type of horn. Then, use curved lines to continue drawing the shape of the head.
Drawing Step 4
4. Use long curved lines to detail inside each ear. Then, draw the mane in the open space between the ossicones. Use a series of short, curved lines that meet at jagged points.
Drawing Step 5
5. Extend two long, curved lines below the head to form the giraffe's neck. Then, use two sets of lines for the front legs. Connect each set at the bottom with a curved line.
Drawing Step 6
6. Use long curved lines for the giraffe's back and its rear legs. Band each leg with a curved line, indicating the hooves.
Drawing Step 7
7. Use a scalloped line to continue the mane down the back of the neck. Extend two curved lines from the rump to form the tail.
At the tip of the tail, use curved lines that meet at jagged points to form a tuft of fur, then detail it with additional curved lines.
