How to Draw a Cute Snowman

1. Begin the cute snowman outline by drawing the character's face. Use a rounded triangle for the carrot nose. For the eye, draw a curved line, then enclose an oval on top of it. Draw two smaller ovals inside and shade around them.

2. Draw the remaining eye. Again, draw a curved line, then enclose an oval on top of it. Draw two smaller ovals inside and shade around them. Use short curved lines for the smiling mouth and eyebrows.

3. Texture the carrot with short lines. Then, use curved lines to draw the side of the face and to enclose a rectangular shape above it. This begins the snowman's hat.

4. Use a long curved line for the top of the hat. Then, use a series of short, curved, connected lines to begin the fluffy, round pom pom.

5. Finish enclosing the pom pom, then draw two rounded rectangles below the face. These are the snowman's scarf.

6. Draw one more rectangular section, then use connected "U" shaped lines to draw the scarf's fringe.

7. Draw the small stick arm, using curved lines to sketch the diverging "Y" shapes. Then, use a long curved line to enclose the body.

8. Stripe the scarf with two lines. Enclose another "Y" shaped stick arm. Draw a circle below the scarf, indicating a button.

9. Continue striping the scarf. Texture the pom pom with short lines.

Your cute snowman outline is now complete. Color your cartoon character. Snow is white, sticks are brown, and carrots are usually orange.

You can use "Christmas colors" of red and green, like we have in the sample illustration, or choose different colors for the hat and scarf.
