How to Draw a Cute Spider

1. Begin the cute spider outline by drawing its eyes. Use curved lines for the bottoms of the large eyes, and more for the oval-shaped tops.

Draw a smaller third eye (this spider has at least four). Then draw smaller ovals inside the eyes and shade around them.

2. Draw the fourth eye, an oval within an oval, and shade between them. Then draw the mouth. Use curved lines for the top and bottom of the open mouth, the tongue, and the fangs.

Spiders don't really have mouth openings or tongues like this, but it's cute for a cartoon character.

3. Draw curved lines above the largest eyes to indicate eyebrows. Then, use long curved lines to outline the face, noting the curve of the cheeks. At the top of the head, use a series of lines to give it a furry appearance.

4. Complete the head, using a series of curved lines. Note the tuft of fur on the top of the head.

5. Enclose an oval by the cheek to form the "foot" of the first leg. Then, use a series of curved lines of different lengths to sketch the furry second leg. Notice how the line doubles back on the end to form the foot.

6. Draw two more oval-shaped legs, some of them furry, on the right side, and another on the left.

7. Draw two more legs on the left side, again using a series of lines that meet at jagged points to give it a furry appearance.

8. Use a series of lines to draw the fuzzy abdomen. Then enclose another leg on each side.

9. Use curved lines to draw spots on the spider's back.

Your cute spider outline is now complete. Color your spider. Jumping spiders are often brown, black, or grey, but they also have bright spots or markings. They may have vibrant colors like red, orange, blue, and green.
