How to Draw a Desk

1. Start the surface of the desk with a V-shape. Draw three vertical lines underneath, then connect them with two diagonal lines.

2. Add a short dash on the left side of the desk. Draw two diagonal lines, add another dash and sketch a straight line, then complete the desk with a curve. Sketch another vertical line to the right.

3. Draw a dash and two more vertical lines beneath the desk, and connect them with diagonal lines. Inside the surface, add two diagonal lines and a straight line that ends in a curve like a hook.

4. Sketch lines on the corners of the desktop. Draw two vertical lines inside the shelving unit, then add two diagonal lines and draw C-shapes for handles.

5. For the book, draw a rounded rectangle with a cylinder cut out of it, then sketch two curves inside this space.

6. Draw a small rectangle and four diagonal lines inside the book. Sketch a rectangle on top of the desk, then add three lines to create another rectangle at a different angle.

7. Add more rectangles inside the laptop.

8. Sketch two dashes and a grid inside the laptop, then draw two curves to the right and connect them with diagonal lines.

9. Place two curves on top of the cylinder. Add a circle underneath the mug, then use a backward C-shape for the handle. Outline the steam with two wavy lines.

Finally, outline your easy desk drawing with a black pen or marker. Erase the pencil lines once the ink dries.

Color your desk with muted orange, then make the book cover green. Use white and grey for the laptop, drawer handles, mug, saucer, steam and book pages. Add blue and yellow to the laptop screen.
