How to Draw a Mario and Luigi Drawing

1. Begin the Mario and Luigi drawing outline by sketching Mario's face. Use an oval for his nose. For one eye, draw three successively smaller ovals and shade the smallest.

For the other, draw three partial ovals that are hidden behind the nose. Extend curved lines from each side of the nose and connect them with a scalloped line to form the mustache.

2. Use a series of curved lines to outline the face. Double the top line back on itself to enclose the brim of Mario's cap.

Shade curved, pointed shapes for the eyebrows, and use curved lines to enclose the mouth, tongue, and teeth.

3. Use a long curved line to enclose Mario's hat. Above the brim of the hat, draw an oval with a bold letter "M" inside.

Then use shorter curved lines to draw and detail his ears, hair, and the dimple on his chin. Enclose three small triangles below the face to form the neck and collar of his shirt.

4. Use a series of overlapping curved lines to sketch Mario's arms, torso, and gloved hand.

5. Draw the details of Mario's overalls. From his shoulders, extend curved lines and double them back on themselves to form the straps.

6. Use curved lines to sketch Luigi's mustache, his smiling mouth, the sides of his face, his ear, his hair, and the brim of his hat.

7. Use curved lines to draw and detail the ears and hair, and a long curved line for the top of the hat.

On the front of the hat, draw a circle with a bold letter "L" inside. Shade pointed, curved shapes for the eyebrows and enclose a small triangle under the chin.

8. Draw two more triangles for the collar of Luigi's shirt, then use a series of long curved lines to draw his arms, torso, overall straps, and overall bib.

9. Finish drawing Luigi's arm and gloved hand. Then, draw a square pocket on the front of each pair of overalls and round clasps on the straps. Contour the fabric of the overalls and shirts with curved lines.

Your Mario and Luigi drawing outline is now complete. Color your characters. Both sets of overalls are blue, but Mario wears a red shirt and hat while Luigi's are green.
