Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing a Patriotic Ribbon

How to Draw a Great Looking Patriotic Ribbon for Kids and Beginners - Step 1

1. Begin the patriotic ribbon outline by drawing the ribbon. First, draw a long diagonal line for one edge of the ribbon. From the bottom of the line, extend a shorter line - one end of the cut ribbon.
Drawing Step 2

2. Extend a long curved line from the existing line, first forming a "y" shape. Take it over the top of the line, touching it, and then running basically parallel until it meets the end of the ribbon at a sharp point.
