How to Draw a Scarecrow Face

1. Draw two ovals with smaller ovals inside them. Add dashes above the eyes, then draw a small triangle and wide curve.

2. Sketch a horizontal curve across the page, and draw loose triangles underneath. Outline the face with a semi-circle.

3. Surround the head with more loose, sketchy triangles. Draw a rounded triangle on each side of the head.

4. Sketch a curved rectangle on top of the hat. Add a vertical curve and two small triangles, then sketch a large, folded-over triangle overhead.

5. Complete the hat with another triangle. Beneath the head, draw two vertical curves on each side and connect them with a horizontal curve. Add another curve inside this shape.

Sketch two diagonal lines, and connect them with a wavy, uneven line that makes triangles and semicircles.

6. Draw more loose triangles beneath the neck. Make sure they vary in size and shape.

7. Sketch two large V-shapes with a smaller V-shape between them. Add an L-shape that touches the bottom of the page. For each shoulder, draw a straight line and triangle.

8. On the left, draw a diagonal line, rectangle and vertical curve. To the right, draw two diagonal lines, a triangle and another curve. Add an oval in the center.

9. Draw three triangles on the right shoulder, then sketch lines on the patch on the left. On the hat, draw a semi-oval with dashes on it and a diagonal line.

Outline your easy scarecrow face with a black pen or marker, filling in the pupils. Erase the pencil lines once the ink dries.

Color your scarecrow's face and neck brown with tan straw sticking out of the burlap. Use pink for the nose, light blue for the button and pale brown for the rope around the neck.

Make the shirt blue with an orange patch and undershirt, then color the hat reddish-brown, adding a green patch and orange band.
