Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing a T-Shirt

How to Draw a Great Looking T-Shirt for Kids and Beginners - Step 1

1. Begin the t-shirt outline by drawing a curved line. Notice that the line has a gentle point near each end. This forms the neck of the t-shirt.
Drawing Step 2

2. Extend long curved lines from each end of the line drawn in the previous step. These are the shoulders of the T-shirt. Also, draw a wide "U" shaped line just below the line drawn in the previous step. This completes the neck opening of the t-shirt.

Drawing Step 3

3. Extend a curved line from one shoulder of the t-shirt to form the top of the sleeve. Draw a shorter curved line parallel to but some distance from it. This forms the bottom of the sleeve.
Drawing Step 4

4. Connect the two lines of the sleeve with another curved line. Then, draw the remaining sleeve. Again, extend a long curved line from the shirt's shoulder and another, shorter curved line parallel to it.
Drawing Step 5

5. Connect the lines of the sleeve using another curved line. Then, use long curved lines to form the sides of the t-shirt. The lines should overlap the bottom of the sleeves slightly.
Drawing Step 6

6. Connect the bottom lines of the shirt using a long curved line. Then, draw a curved line across the top of the sleeve, but don't attach it to each side of the garment. This indicates the seam of the sleeve.
Drawing Step 7

7. Draw another sleeve seam above the opposite sleeve. From the underarm of each sleeve, extend a short curved line to indicate folds in the fabric.
