1. Begin the easy cartoon turtle outline by drawing its eye. Outline the cheek using two short curved lines, then enclose a partial oval above the upper line. Draw a small oval inside the first and shade around it.

2. Use a series of long and short curved lines to sketch the turtle's head. Notice how they overlap at the brow and mouth.

3. Extend curved lines below the head to form the neck. Then, draw a large "C" shaped line to form the bottom of the turtle's shell. Shade a small oval on the face to indicate the nose.
