How to Draw a Great Looking Easy Gnome for Kids, Beginners, and Adults - Step 1

1. Draw a straight line, then sketch hill shapes over the line like the scalloped edge of a shell. Use two curved lines pointing upward to make a cone shape without the point. Add two straight lines that point to the right, then draw two more lines that point downward.

Sketch a triangle at the bottom of the shape with a teardrop at the end. Add a couple of loops to show the folds in the fabric.

2. Draw a hook shape on either side of the hat. Add a curve underneath, then take the line downward and make a triangle. Repeat this process until you reach the bottom of the shape. Draw the same lines on either side with some variation at the bottom.

3. Sketch three straight lines to make the legs. Connect the legs with a curved shape with loops on either side, like the rim of a bowl.

Make a long curve on each side, draw a parallel curve underneath and complete the shoes with short rectangles. Add teardrop shapes on the tips of the shoes.
