How to Draw an Easy Realistic Dolphin

1. Begin the easy realistic dolphin outline by drawing a curved line. This will become the front of the dolphin's head.

Use curved lines to enclose the eye, contour above it, and draw two consecutively smaller circles within it. Shade between the circles to form the pupil.

2. Use a series of curved lines - some that meet at points and others that don't quite touch - to outline the "V" shape of the dolphin's open mouth.

3. Draw curved lines coming from the top and bottom of the dolphin's beak. Then use short curved lines to enclose the rounded, triangular teeth along its top jaw.

4. Use a curved line to draw the dolphin's tongue. Then enclose the triangular shapes of the bottom teeth.

5. Contour the tongue with a curved line and enclose the row of triangular teeth on the opposite side of the lower jaw.

6. Extend the line of the head, and draw another long curved line from below the jaw. Draw a curved line and double it back on itself to form the dolphin's pectoral fin.

7. Use curved lines, doubled back on themselves, to draw the remaining pectoral fin and the dorsal fin. Then draw a long curved line for the lower back and tail.

8. Use curved lines to enclose the dolphin's tail fin.

9. Contour the sides of the belly, the base of the pectoral fin, and the top of the head with curved lines.

Your easy realistic dolphin outline is now complete. Color your creature.
