1. Draw two ovals near the center of the page. Sketch two circles inside each oval, then add a vertical line. Add a horizontal curve and two hook shapes between the eyes.

2. Sketch narrow triangles above the eyes, then complete the nose with a short curve and a vertical line.
Draw a curve beneath the nose. Add a loose M-shape above the curve and a deeper curve underneath, then draw dashes on either side of the mouth. Sketch a curve for the chin.

3. Surround the eyes with curves and dashes. Draw an incomplete semi-oval beneath the left eye, and connect this shape to the chin with a curved line. Sketch a dash below the mouth.
Repeat this step on the right, but draw the lines in the opposite direction to form a mirror image.

4. Outline the head with a semi-circle. Sketch four narrow triangles above the eyebrows, then add small, sketchy triangles between them. Draw two curves on each side of the head.
