Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing Raphael Ninja Turtle
How to Draw a Great Looking Raphael Ninja Turtle for Kids and Beginners - Step 1
1. Begin the Raphael Ninja Turtle outline with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle face drawing. Use curved lines to draw the eyes, and shade the round pupils inside them. Draw a curved line below them for the wide nose.
Then, use curved lines to draw the mask over the eyes. Finally, use a long curved line to enclose the oval-shaped bottom of the face. Within it, use curved lines to draw the grimacing mouth.
Drawing Step 2
2. Use a curved line to enclose the round top of the head above the mask. Use overlapping curved lines that meet at points to draw the ends of the mask. Then, use overlapping curved lines to draw the neck and the muscular shoulders and upper arm.

Drawing Step 3
3. Draw the sais, erasing as necessary. Draw a triangle for the central baton, and use curved lines to create the "C" shaped set of prongs. Then, use overlapping curved lines to draw his fist grasping the handle of the weapon.
Drawing Step 4
4. Use curved lines to enclose the cylinders of the weapon's handle. Draw two curved lines to complete the arm with a wrist band. Use a long curved line to begin the carapace or belly, and a series of overlapping lines for the remaining arm and arm band.
Drawing Step 5
5. Use overlapping curved lines to draw the remaining fist, then draw the sais in its grasp. Enclose a pointed "C" shape and a triangle above the hand, and a small, rounded rectangle below it.
Drawing Step 6
6. Draw a circle in the middle of the belly and extend two lines from each side of it. Draw two sets of lines below it, and connect each set with a "V" shaped line.
Then, draw a curved line parallel to the carapace and use shorter lines to contour the chest muscles. Enclose the rest of the carapace between the ribbons. Draw a pommel on the end of the second sais.
Drawing Step 7
7. Draw a bold letter "R" in the middle of the circle. Draw lines parallel to the edge of the carapace and down its middle. Draw the side of the torso, upper leg, and band around the knee. Contour the leg muscle with curved lines.

It's turtle time. You can learn how to draw Raphael the Ninja Turtle with the help of this simple, step-by-step character drawing guide.
Raphael or Raph for short is one of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
As you see in the picture, Raph carries two weapons that look like three-pronged daggers. They are actually martial arts weapons called sais. The center point is a baton, and the weapon is not used for stabbing; it's used to block and capture an opponent's blade.
