Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing the Batmobile
How to Draw a Great Looking Batmobile for Kids and Beginners - Step 1
1. Begin the Batmobile outline by sketching the cab of the car. Use a long curved line to trace the basic rectangular shape.
Double the line back twice to create an “S” inside the shape. This outlines the car’s windshield. Draw straight lines to complete and structure the windshield.

2. Enclose a half-oval shape above the cab, and draw two curved lines around it, but don’t let them touch. In the gap, draw a curved triangular fin. Draw another fin with a scalloped bottom behind it.

Drawing Step 3
3. Draw a curved line at the back of the cab and another from the front. Double it back on itself to form the front of the car.
Extend another line from it, running parallel to the front of the car and then forming the wheel fender. Use a curved line to outline the tire within it.

4. From the wheel well, extend a long curved line to trace the side of the car and the rear wheel well. Use curved lines to outline the tire. Detail the wheels and hubcaps by drawing several concentric ovals.
Extend another curved line from behind the wheel well. Spiral the line around to enclose an oval shape on the side of the car.

5. Draw a long curved line from the front of the car beyond the back tire. Then, use curved lines to outline the back fender and the scalloped, bat-wing-like fin.

6. Detail the car. Draw a rectangular headlight at the front, and three narrow, diagonal rectangles in front of the front tire. Draw an “L” shaped line in front of the rear tire, with “J” shaped lines inside it.

7. Draw a jet engine on the front of the car. Enclose several successively smaller irregular ovals. Texture the second and third ovals from the center with curved lines.

8. Draw a long curved line from the front of the cab. Use a series of additional curved lines to enclose the front of the car.
Complete the Outline of Your Batmobile Drawing - Step 9
9. Draw a rectangular headlight on the remaining front side. Draw a long curved line down the center of the hood.
Color Your Batmobile Drawing
Your Batmobile outline is now complete. Color it black, perhaps using different methods to create highlights and shadows.
