Drawing Step 4

4. Draw two more petals, completing the flower’s five. Draw a short curved line beneath the flower’s center. Then, extend a pair of curved lines below the first flower, forming the stem.
Drawing Step 5

5. From the stem, extend two sets of curved lines. Allow each set to meet at a sharp point. At the tip of one of these twigs, draw a serrated, heart-shaped leaf. Use a series of short, connected, lines.
Drawing Step 6

6. Draw a larger serrated, heart-shaped leaf at the tip of the remaining twig. Again, sketch the shape using a series of connected served lines.
Drawing Step 7

7. Using a curved line, enclose a half-circle shape at the side of the second violet blossom. This is the thalamus or receptacle.
From the receptacle, extend a pair of curved lines to form the stem. At the base of the stem, extend two short curved lines, and allow them to meet at a sharp point.
