Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing a 3D House

How to Draw a Great Looking 3D House for Kids and Beginners - Step 1

1. Begin the 3D house outline by drawing the door. First, draw an angled rectangle.
Draw short lines protruding from three corners, and connect two of them with a straight line. Draw a small oval to indicate the doorknob.
Drawing Step 2

2. Extend diagonal lines from the bottom corners of the door. From the end of each line, extend vertical lines upward.

Drawing Step 3

3. From the near corner, draw a straight line, and extend another vertically from its end. This forms the second side of the house. Use a "V" shaped line to draw the roof above it.
Drawing Step 4

4. Draw two straight lines parallel to the front side of the house. These are the top and bottom of the roof. Connect them on one side with a diagonal line. On the other side, connect them to the bottom of the "V."
Drawing Step 5

5. Draw an "L" shaped line parallel to two edges of the roof, giving it a three-dimensional edge.
Drawing Step 6

6. On the side of the house, draw a rectangle within a rectangle. Then, draw two horizontal lines through the middle of it. This is the first of the house's window drawings.
Drawing Step 7

7. Draw a second window, identical to the first. Again, draw a rectangle within a rectangle. Then, draw two horizontal lines through the middle of it.
