How to Draw a Great Looking Dog Face for Kids and Beginners - Step 1
1. For each eye, draw a large curve with a steeper curve on top, like a mountain. Sketch dashes over the eyes. Use dashes to draw two circles and a triangle.

2. Underneath the eyes, sketch a loose cylinder with a curl on each end. Make a rounded arrow underneath with a dash in the middle of the shape. Draw more dashes between the eyes.

3. Make a wavy W-shape beneath the nose. Add a dash on each end, then draw a line connecting the nose to the mouth. For the tongue, draw a curve with two rounded triangles on each end and a line above the shape.

4. Add a curve on each side of the mouth, then draw a curve over the nose and connect the lines with dashes. Use curved lines and triangles to outline the teeth.

5. For the chin, draw an uneven curve. Make another curve to the left and two more underneath the chin. Sketch dashes and tiny curves throughout the face and below the neck.

7. Repeat the previous step with two lines instead of three. Make the lines point in the opposite direction. Draw four dashes near the top of the head.

To complete your cartoon dog face, outline the drawing in black. Don't color the entire face black--you'll need a slightly lighter shade to make the features visible.
Make your dog face realistic by coloring the snout and the spots above the eyes dark orange. Add dark gray with black shadows for the rest of the face. Use pink for the tongue and white for the eyes and teeth
