Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing a Piranha
How to Draw a Great Looking Piranha for Kids and Beginners - Step 1
1. Begin by drawing a curved "V" shaped line to outline the front of the fish's face.
Within the "V," enclose a circle inside an irregular round shape. Shade the circle to become the pupil of the eye. Contour around the eye with curved lines.
Drawing Step 2
2. Extend a curved line from the bottom of the "V" and double it back on itself to form the lower jaw.
Skip a space then continue the line around the back of the head. Shade a small oval for the nostril and contour around it with short lines.

Drawing Step 3
3. Use "V" shaped lines to enclose triangular teeth inside the piranha's mouth. Then, contour the head with curved lines.
Drawing Step 4
4. Extend long curved lines from the top and bottom of the head, outlining the body. Notice how the body is rounded before the lines grow closer together.
Extend a curved line from the top of the back. Connect it to the lower back with a scalloped line, enclosing the fin.
Drawing Step 5
5. Draw another, smaller fin lower down the back. Extend a curved line from the back and enclose the triangle shape with a scalloped line.
Then, extend curved lines from the top and bottom of the tail. Connect them with a scalloped line, forming the tail fin.
Drawing Step 6
6. Draw the pectoral fin near the head. Start with a short curved line. Then extend two curved lines, and allow them to meet at a point. Then, draw the anal fin below the tail. Use a curved line and a scalloped line.
Drawing Step 7
7. Draw curved lines down the center of the fish's body, and a scalloped line at the base of the tail. Texture the fish's skin with "U" shaped scales.
