How to Draw a Great Looking Prince for Kids and Beginners - Step 1

1. Begin the cartoon prince outline by drawing the boy's face. use "U" shaped curved lines for the nose, the smiling mouth, and the bottom of the face.

Draw curved lines for the cheeks, and enclose partial circles over them. These are the eyes. Shade a circle inside each.

2. Use a series of connected, curved lines to sketch the prince's ears and hair.

Use three lines to begin a curved rectangle shape on top of his head - this will become a crown drawing. Use curved lines for the boy's eyebrows.

3. Complete the crow, using curved lines that meet at points to form its triangular spikes. Draw an oval-shaped gemstone on the front of the crown.

Extend a pair of lines to form the neck, and use curved lines to create the tall collar beneath it. Enclose the hair at the back of the neck using wavy lines.

Texture the hair and contour inside the ears with curved lines.

4. Enclose partial triangle shapes at the prince's shoulder. Draw the shoulder of his tunic using an oval and a crown shape. Then extend curved lines to form his arm.

5. Create a mirror image on the opposite side - the oval-shaped sleeve, its crown-shaped embellishment, and the arm. Then use curved lines to begin drawing the hands.

Draw an oval alongside the belt. This will become the pommel of the sword's handle.
