Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing an Easy Biblically Accurate Angel

How to Draw a Great Looking Easy Biblically Accurate Angel for Kids and Beginners - Step 1

1. Begin the biblically accurate angel outline by drawing the central eye. Use two curved lines to outline the double-pointed shape of the eye - a thick line on top and a normal eye on the bottom.
Inside the eye, draw a circle, and shade a smaller circle inside it. Then, draw a starburst pattern around the eye.
Use curved lines that meet at jagged points. The star should be basically four-pointed, with the vertical and horizontal arms being the longest. Then draw two smaller arms in between each set.
Drawing Step 2

2. Draw the first of the angel wings.
Use a long curved line for the back of the wing, long “U” shaped lines for the two layers of flight feathers, and wavy lines for the remaining feathers. Contour near the top of the wing with a curved line.

Many people think of angels as beautiful women or chubby babies. But when Bible writers saw visions of angels, they were often very interesting.

Ezekiel 10:12 describes cherubs with four faces whose "whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings... were full of eyes all around."
