How to Draw a Great Looking Easy Angel for Kids and Beginners - Step 1

1. Begin the easy angel outline by drawing the face. Use curved lines for the closed eyes, the nose, and the mouth, and thick lines for the eyebrows.

2. Outline the face. Use scalloped lines for the hair, short curved lines for the ears, and a long curved line for the chin and cheeks.

3. Use a long, wavy curved line to finish enclosing the hair. Draw a vertical line down the center of the hair, forming a part. Extend two lines below the head, forming the neck and shoulders.

4. Extend the lines of the shoulders to form the arms. Use additional lines to draw the praying hands, outline the top and opening of the sleeve, and detail the fingers.

5. Use curved lines to draw the neck of the gown, the sides of the torso, the curved rectangular belt, and the folds of the sleeves.

6. Draw the skirt of the gown. Use long curved lines for the sides of the skirt, and a scalloped line to connect them at the bottom.

7. Detail the fabric of the skirt with long curved lines. Then, draw an oval within an oval above the head. This is the angel’s halo.
