1. Begin the cartoon penguin outline by drawing an irregular round shape. This is the penguin's head. Draw a curved line inside the face, and enclose a partial oval above it to form the eye.

3. Use two curved lines to enclose the gently pointed shape of the penguin's beak. With a curved line, draw the smile across it.

4. Draw another curved line under the smile, opening the mouth. Draw a short curved line above each eye to form the eyebrows.
Then, draw a long curved line under the head. This will become the side of the penguin's body.
